Creation Care Pt. 3 - The People of God's Relationship to the Land

1. Take some time to consider your own family’s relationship to the land. Share it with the group. When was the last generation who worked with the land? Provided their own food? Tell their story to the group.

2. What is your relationship to the land? Share it with the group. Everyone has some connection. It may be a small plot of grass, or your backyard. What do you know about your own area? What is your relationship to your land?

3. Step outside wherever you are meeting. Tell the story of that place. Look around: What do you see? What do you hear?

4. Take some time to discuss where your food comes from. What do you know about the food you buy? How intentional are you about where your food comes from.

5. Take some time to discuss what sort of “kingdom” impact it could make to learn about your food sources and establish some justice oriented parameters.

6. Each week in this series I will ask you to share on the topic of the same question. As you have been living in the world this week, moving through creation, how have you seen God at work in God’s creation?
